I’m not at all familiar with how sugars work or what level of compatibility they have with TextMate bundles, but is anyone working on a blogging sugar for Espresso? If not would it be possible to migrate/convert/adapt the TextMate blogging bundle by Brad Choate? The following link offers a bit more information about this bundle for those unfamiliar:

As I use WordPress as a CMS solution, it would be great to be able to make edits to posts and pages directly from within my IDE.

I haven’t heard anything about someone working on a blogging Sugar, but it’s theoretically possible.  It would likely need to be coded from the ground up, though; even if the source for Brad Choate’s plugin were available (it might be; I haven’t been able to find it), aside from text snippets Textmate and Espresso are quite different in how they are extended.

Personally, I’m unlikely to take this project on since I wouldn’t use it; give me MarsEdit any day.

I’m using MarsEdit as well - even for WordPress pages :-) - however I miss the access to my giant library of custom snippets. Though considering Espresso doesn’t yet have a snippet manager this sugar should probably be at the bottom of my list…
