Is it possible to specify hotkeys for Sugar actions (through XML, I’m assuming, although program-wide configurable hotkeys through a UI would be way better)?  I’m not seeing any mention of ways to do this in the wiki, but am not looking forward to needing to define more shortcuts in the System Preferences.

Alternatively, is there a way to register shortcuts through the Objective-C API?

Ah ha ha ha!  Success!

<action id="whatever.myaction" category="whatever.mycategory">
    <class>
MYActionClass</class>
    <
title>Sploog!</title>
    <
key-equivalent>cmd control option S</key-equivalent>
</
action

It auto-detects if you need shift or not based on the character entered.

cmd control option S

I’m not using your sugars if you create keyboard commands like that!

Heh, neither would I.  That’s an example so that you can see all the available words for describing command modifiers.
